Tillage's AI quote generation lets you describe projects in plain English and receive comprehensive, professionally-priced quotes in seconds. This premium feature saves hours of manual quote creation.

How It Works

  1. Start a new quote and select your client
  2. Click "Generate with AI"
  3. Describe your project in natural language
  4. Review the generated quote with intelligent line items
  5. Customize as needed and send to your client

What AI Generates

When you describe a project, Tillage's AI creates:

  • Line item titles - Clear, professional descriptions
  • Detailed descriptions - Comprehensive scope with deliverables listed
  • Quantities - Estimated hours or units based on project complexity
  • Pricing - Market-appropriate rates based on your industry and client tier
  • Variance buffers - Risk percentages based on project complexity
  • Project categories - Suggested categorization for your records

AI Providers

Tillage supports two leading AI providers:

  • OpenAI (GPT-4) - Fast, reliable quote generation
  • Anthropic Claude - Alternative AI option with strong reasoning

You provide your own API key in Settings > Integrations. API keys are encrypted and stored securely.

Pricing Tier Intelligence

When generating quotes, you can select a pricing tier that matches your client:

  • Enterprise - Premium pricing for large corporations
  • Mid-Market - Competitive pricing for established businesses
  • SMB - Small business-friendly pricing
  • Local - Budget-conscious pricing for local businesses
  • Nonprofit - Discounted rates for nonprofit organizations

The AI adjusts suggested rates based on the selected tier.
